Optotap PCB 5V/24V (2.4.1)

Optotap PCB 5V/24V (2.4.1)

Voltages supported:
The OptoTap 2.4.1 PCB supports 5V and 24V supply voltages provided by the probe port of a toolhead PCB or the controller board.

Toolhead PCB support:
For all revisions of the HartK Stealthburner Toolhead PCB (1pc or 2pcs) you can use the right probe port to connect your OptoTap in 24V volt mode. Then follow the standard Voron Tap Klipper instructions
Connect OptoTap to right probe connector on Stealthburner PCB

Direct wiring:
You can re-use your existing wiring for the OptoTap in 24V mode (see wiring colours below). Then follow the standard Voron Tap Klipper instructions

Change supply voltage:
To change the Optotap to 5V mode, you will need to cut the lower trace on the back of the PCB and solder a bridge over the top two contacts (see picture).

5V operation: Cut horizontal trace, add vertical solder bridge

Wire Colour scheme:
Red = 24V In
Black = GND
Orange = Trigger Signal
